Hey All..

well we are almost at the time where we are going to get on a plane and come back home...

Last week we had some exciting news, we found out that in Dec we are going to have a baby!!!!!!

so both claire and I are pretty stoked about that,

so now it is a matter of tying up loose ends here and preparing everything for the trip back home.

its going to be so good coming home, but at the same time so hard as we have made some amazing friends here that we will be friends with for life,

we have a few prayer points,

- that our baby, even now, will be in perfect health

- that claire does not get sick at all through her pregnancy

- that we can find someone to buy our car. We are hoping to sell it in the next few weeks so pray for a great buyer!!!

and finally, we are really stuck for cash, we need to pay the rego on the car about 2 weeks ago, but they only take cash, so we cant do it on our australian CC, so this is stressing us out as we could get in serious trouble for having an unregistered car, but at the same time its really hard to get around without wheels...

So if we could get some prayer for that OR alternativly, if you have spare cash that your not attached to then let us know :)

looking forward to catching up with everyone in about 5 weeks...

its been a while, not sure if anyone is reading this haha but it kinda feels like were communicating anyway. Church is fun. currently trying to build a record label here with brian and bethel music, is goin well, but with the obvious struggles of starting a new venture. BUT loving every minute of it, and learning so much.

Claire is getting so much out of school and growing so much. So proud of her!!! She leaves for croatia in a couple of weeks, but still needs $1300 dollars to make her final payment, we are really believing for the finances to come through for this, so if you want to help invest in claires life ( coz i really believe this trip will be life changing for her) you can go to the Bank details that are on our Blog Page, or here

I know that it can be tight at times in the finance department, but i also believe for massive blessing from trying to "out give God" ;-) so anyways, if you are in any kind of position to help claire on her mission trip that would be amazing! she also wants to be able to take some cash over there to be able to sow into the communities over there and really bless them.. so anything like that is going to be extra for us as well, BUT we feel that sowing into that kind of blessing is important...

Along with the cash stuff, we have had our housemate move out, so our monthly rent is now $450 more a month than it has been, so that is definately putting a strain on everything...

aside from that life here is great, we have clint and joelle staying with us at the moment, and have the Klems coming this weekend, ( very much excitement ;-) !!!) the weather has been crap. constant rain for quite a few weeks, and doesn't look to be getting better anytime soon. really missing the sun...

keep praying for us about doors to be opening up, we are really praying and thinking about what to do after this year, so if you could all be praying that we make the right decisions about what to do, that would be amazing!!

Hello friends.... welll first Blogg of the year, and its almost all through January....

yep i have been a slack arse but it because we have been so busy

Have had a great start to the year, Had Mr Law come and stay with us, which was amazing... the only thing that would have made it better would have been having the Mrs Law there aswell, that would have fun!!! we miss ya hails!! and in a week or so we have the morgans coming to stay, which will be awesome to see them, and then we get a royal visit from the Klems, (quite excited) heard we might have a visit from booty and rach! and then claires Parents after that and My mum as well... so all round a great start to the year... 500% better than last years start to the year... On that, your prayers are appreciated around this time, as its coming up to exactly 1 year since dad Died, and I know i have been feeling pretty down about it, even subconsciously i have been like, why do i feel so crap at the moment...

anyways, we are learning so much, please pray for direction for both of us, as we have about 5 months left on our visa, and were still not really sure what we should be doing after that 5 months is up,

miss all our friends back home, cant wait to catch up with everyone on our return,

Hi All...

sooo. we got a new tenant for our house (Apparently) and 2 days before they were going to sign the papers our agent emails and tells us that they are no longer going to move in because there teenage son doesnt like the house and refuses to like there.. ( CRAP!! ) i love our house, how could you not wanna live there... anyways, makes us think that there never was a tenant, and were just being fed stories to keep us happy..

anyways, please keep praying for our house, we need amazing people in there that are going to look after it...

Hey friends,

Were Having a great time here, but at the same time we feel like were being pushed all the way down Struggle Street. As some of you may know, we are renting out our house in Australia at the moment, and our Tenants a few weeks ago informed us that they were going to have to move out,for fears they may go bankrupt. (apparently they felt they were doing us a favor giving us the heads up) but basically they have said they cannot afford to pay rent so they are going to stop paying and move out this weekend. This is really pushing us to the limits as were only just scraping through each month as it is. But now our main source of income and rent is about to be stopped until we can find new suitable tenants for our house. Hopefully finding someone shouldnt be to hard but the stress of having to think about this and deal with estate agents from over the other side of the world is getting really hard to handle!

Basically we got some prayer points...

- We need some great people to rent our house ( we dont want just anyone in there, as we have put alot of work into the house and obviously want to keep it nice)

- We need people to move in ASAP

- We need cash - were really cutting it fine but we still know Gods bankaccount is much bigger than ours ha..

so if you are able to help in either a prayerful way or a practical way it would be soo appreciated.

Hey friends.!!!

God is Good!! or Great, whichever works!!! church is amazing, we have been seeing so much blessing and favour, and learning so much as we go. I think the biggest mindset that we are currently smashing down, is having faith for finances only when everything is going great. Its real trust when you have to trust God for every dollar that comes in. AND WERE GETTING BREAKTHROUGH. its such a good feeling to be able to go, It will b ok, we have faith... and actually believe that its going to happen :) i know it sounds basic but where being really honest with ourselves as well. Claire needed a deposit for her mission trip. and the night it was due it came through. we didnt know how we were going to get it, but it just turned up. (we still got another $3000 to get but its ok Gods in this with us)

Im getting to play at church more, which is amazing, but also really interesting as some of the values/(ways we approach the worship teams) that we have set in place back home i have been able to introduce over here and combine with their way of doing things and its really interesting to see some of the out comes. It is amazing to see heart for worship here. Its all about the attitude of the heart,

we have had some interesting things happen in the past week that might normally shake a church up, but to watch a leadership deal with Situations honorably is incredible. the heart and the honor that filters directly down from Bill is Amazing! every single person in the church is eventually affected by the choices Bill makes, and the heart attitudes he has. It is crazy how when one person chooses to honor how it affects soo many more.

Redding and its surrounding environment.

Its starting to get cold, Mt Shasta and Mt Lassen are both constantly covered in Snow, and it really is such a great view on a perfect blue sky day with two snow covered mountains in the background.. its not Arcadia (aka Gods own country) but its close...

Keep praying for us! we are getting so much out of being here and we so appreciate the prayers that im sure are keeping us safe (on the other side of the road, driving home from San fran at 2am after flying back from Australia CRAZY!)

so thanks everyone, we miss you all and please start taking hollidays to redding, we bought a Brand new Queen bed just so we could have friends stay, and its getting lonely.. so come on over.!!!

Hey Everybody!!!

so this week has been crazy!!

We are settled into our new apartment, trying as hard as we can to make it feel like home, checking out yard sales to try and find nice stuff!! we are now right into the swing of "paying rent" so this is where were really relying on Gods provision, coz we can go without some things to save on the cashers, but im pretty sure the rental guy wont go for that idea... Ah well..

Claire is loving school and learning so much from it.. Its just amazing to have speakers that normally you would wait a year to go and listen to, speaking to you everyday!!! Claire is starting to plan for the 1st year mission trip, (which is supposed to be self funded i.e Fundrasing..) she really has on her heart to go to Croatia, so if anyone has it on their heart to support her in that, that would be awesome!! she feels like God is on that, so thats what were going to go for!!

Working with brian has been great, i am learning alot from him, but were also starting to form a pretty good friendship, and we both seem to be appreciating what we have got going here.

We finally sealed the distribution deal, so look out australia, there is going to be a whole lot of Bethel Music coming your way, The new Here is Love CD came out and its awesome, brian has a new acoustic worship album coming out soon and Leah also has a solo album coming out before the end of the year...

I got to play at the friday night service, was pretty hard, as the first time I had heard one of the songs was when we started playing it in the worship set, Talk about learning on the run, anyway it all worked out, I then got to play again on sunday night, filling in for someone, and that was a much better night of worship, but even trickier, as i didnt have any charts, and only knew a few of the songs... but it was great worship and went for nearly 2 hours..

were having fun here and really learning alot, we are however missing our friends, and think about your daily..

please keep us in your prayers, we really feel like God is opening up so many doors for us, and we just ask that you pray for abundant blessings and that we continue to grow in honor and learn to live in the presence more and more..
