Hi All...

sooo. we got a new tenant for our house (Apparently) and 2 days before they were going to sign the papers our agent emails and tells us that they are no longer going to move in because there teenage son doesnt like the house and refuses to like there.. ( CRAP!! ) i love our house, how could you not wanna live there... anyways, makes us think that there never was a tenant, and were just being fed stories to keep us happy..

anyways, please keep praying for our house, we need amazing people in there that are going to look after it...

Hey friends,

Were Having a great time here, but at the same time we feel like were being pushed all the way down Struggle Street. As some of you may know, we are renting out our house in Australia at the moment, and our Tenants a few weeks ago informed us that they were going to have to move out,for fears they may go bankrupt. (apparently they felt they were doing us a favor giving us the heads up) but basically they have said they cannot afford to pay rent so they are going to stop paying and move out this weekend. This is really pushing us to the limits as were only just scraping through each month as it is. But now our main source of income and rent is about to be stopped until we can find new suitable tenants for our house. Hopefully finding someone shouldnt be to hard but the stress of having to think about this and deal with estate agents from over the other side of the world is getting really hard to handle!

Basically we got some prayer points...

- We need some great people to rent our house ( we dont want just anyone in there, as we have put alot of work into the house and obviously want to keep it nice)

- We need people to move in ASAP

- We need cash - were really cutting it fine but we still know Gods bankaccount is much bigger than ours ha..

so if you are able to help in either a prayerful way or a practical way it would be soo appreciated.

Hey friends.!!!

God is Good!! or Great, whichever works!!! church is amazing, we have been seeing so much blessing and favour, and learning so much as we go. I think the biggest mindset that we are currently smashing down, is having faith for finances only when everything is going great. Its real trust when you have to trust God for every dollar that comes in. AND WERE GETTING BREAKTHROUGH. its such a good feeling to be able to go, It will b ok, we have faith... and actually believe that its going to happen :) i know it sounds basic but where being really honest with ourselves as well. Claire needed a deposit for her mission trip. and the night it was due it came through. we didnt know how we were going to get it, but it just turned up. (we still got another $3000 to get but its ok Gods in this with us)

Im getting to play at church more, which is amazing, but also really interesting as some of the values/(ways we approach the worship teams) that we have set in place back home i have been able to introduce over here and combine with their way of doing things and its really interesting to see some of the out comes. It is amazing to see heart for worship here. Its all about the attitude of the heart,

we have had some interesting things happen in the past week that might normally shake a church up, but to watch a leadership deal with Situations honorably is incredible. the heart and the honor that filters directly down from Bill is Amazing! every single person in the church is eventually affected by the choices Bill makes, and the heart attitudes he has. It is crazy how when one person chooses to honor how it affects soo many more.

Redding and its surrounding environment.

Its starting to get cold, Mt Shasta and Mt Lassen are both constantly covered in Snow, and it really is such a great view on a perfect blue sky day with two snow covered mountains in the background.. its not Arcadia (aka Gods own country) but its close...

Keep praying for us! we are getting so much out of being here and we so appreciate the prayers that im sure are keeping us safe (on the other side of the road, driving home from San fran at 2am after flying back from Australia CRAZY!)

so thanks everyone, we miss you all and please start taking hollidays to redding, we bought a Brand new Queen bed just so we could have friends stay, and its getting lonely.. so come on over.!!!

Hey Everybody!!!

so this week has been crazy!!

We are settled into our new apartment, trying as hard as we can to make it feel like home, checking out yard sales to try and find nice stuff!! we are now right into the swing of "paying rent" so this is where were really relying on Gods provision, coz we can go without some things to save on the cashers, but im pretty sure the rental guy wont go for that idea... Ah well..

Claire is loving school and learning so much from it.. Its just amazing to have speakers that normally you would wait a year to go and listen to, speaking to you everyday!!! Claire is starting to plan for the 1st year mission trip, (which is supposed to be self funded i.e Fundrasing..) she really has on her heart to go to Croatia, so if anyone has it on their heart to support her in that, that would be awesome!! she feels like God is on that, so thats what were going to go for!!

Working with brian has been great, i am learning alot from him, but were also starting to form a pretty good friendship, and we both seem to be appreciating what we have got going here.

We finally sealed the distribution deal, so look out australia, there is going to be a whole lot of Bethel Music coming your way, The new Here is Love CD came out and its awesome, brian has a new acoustic worship album coming out soon and Leah also has a solo album coming out before the end of the year...

I got to play at the friday night service, was pretty hard, as the first time I had heard one of the songs was when we started playing it in the worship set, Talk about learning on the run, anyway it all worked out, I then got to play again on sunday night, filling in for someone, and that was a much better night of worship, but even trickier, as i didnt have any charts, and only knew a few of the songs... but it was great worship and went for nearly 2 hours..

were having fun here and really learning alot, we are however missing our friends, and think about your daily..

please keep us in your prayers, we really feel like God is opening up so many doors for us, and we just ask that you pray for abundant blessings and that we continue to grow in honor and learn to live in the presence more and more..

So... this week has been pretty crazy,

we worked on a distribution deal with the bethel albums for Australia and NZ, (thanks Gore your a freeking legend) so Australia get ready to see alot more of bethels music!

Claire went on retreat with her group up to a ranch, (she hasnt come back yet but im eagerly waiting for her to) while she was away i moved all our stuff into our very own apartment!! its awesome! we will take photos and send them over when we have settled in. it feels really good to be in our own place, and we really thank God for it! Such a blessing...

Yesterday i went on a Hunt with Brian and a few of his mates, He had a friend that came over from Pennsylvania especially to go hunt a bear, it was quite an experience.

So far we are having a great time, connections are being made and strong relationships are being formed, we are so thankful for His blessings every day,

Keep praying for us, pray that doors continue to be open and just unmerited favor is poured over us... And if you know anyone with lots of spare cash, get them to send us some ;-)

Its been a while...

had our first week at school/interning this week it was crazy!! there are so many people here. Claire is remembering what its like to have homework but really enjoying all the teaching. I have started with brian and we really feel there is alot of favor there!!! at the beginning of the week he said that he was going over to the coast with a mate and 2 of his kids and for me to come along and just hang out. was a really good time to build relationship(with the kids as well, they seemed to figure out they could see alot more if they were being carried)

We move into our new appartment in 9 days, so were madly looking around on craigslist and garage sales for cheap furniture, (whoever thought we would be fitting out another house so fast)

Bill got an amazing Prophetic word about redding, so check out last nights ibethel.tv and listen to Kris V speak on it. there is some exciting stuff about to break here and were really glad we are here at this time.

Hey all...

so we have hit a wee bump in the road, I have had some massive issues with one of my teeth, and after getting it checked turns out i need root canal surgery on it... this sux because its going to cost in excess of $1500 US... so if you can pray for financial breakthrough for us, that would be awesome.. coz at the moment were not sure how we can do this.

yesterday i had some form of toothache, possibly the most intense pain i have ever experienced, i would go away when i had ice on it, but come back worse after the ice wore off, subsequently i went through about 10 big cups of ice yesterday, couldnt sleep because every 2 mins i had to get another piece of ice not sure what it was, but it feels better this morning, sucky night in redding. hope its the last one!!

Claire and I have been thinking of ways to get a little extra cash while we are over here, so we are thinking if we had some form of business in Australia that was making money we would be all set :) so were thinking of setting up an Australian website where people will be able to order prints of photos i have taken, we would get them printed up over here and send them to wherever they need to go, here are a few of the prints you would be able to choose from.

Settling down in redding, we are living with some friends for now,

finding an apartment was proving quite hard, as about 3000 students have turned up at redding to do either bethel or attend the numerous other schools and universities here.

we have been blessed with the use of a big RV in a few weeks until we are able to find a place to live, its good because it is fully furnished and really cheap. At some stage we will look at moving into our own apartment and start the task of getting furniture and fitting it out to feel like a home, pray for Gods abundant blessing and favor in that area..

Keep praying for us over here, that we really get everything God has for us, and that we continue to grow beyond what we ever thought possible..

Arrived in redding today after a big drive up from LA yesterday,

stayed in Sacramento over night..

GOD IS GOOD!!!! we were able to be blessed by being given half the money to buy a car ( one that was way out of price range but is sooo new and soooo nice and just a massive gift from god to show how good he is)

thanks for the prayer!!!

our next prayer point is accommodation.. we really need somewhere cheap and nice to live..

dropped into bethel today in the middle of a women's conference, caught up with a few friends that we haven't seen since last year,

the amount of peace and excitement that we felt when we drove up the hill towards bethel was incredible. we are excited for what is going to happen this year and we ask that you all can pray that doors be opened and god gets to do his plan in us.

went for a drive today to search for the car that will take us on this journey,

lots of car yards, lots of craigslist lots of car yards...

we eventually found a nice car (Chrysler Seebring Convertible) after that we went for a bit of a drive to malibu and then down sunset Blvd and up onto Mulholland Drive

heading to redding in the next day or to..

God is great, teaching us stuff already..

First post from the USA,

We left Sydney on monday the 24th, at about 10am, had a 12 hour flight to LA and arrived here at 7am on Monday the 24th.. so just incase we didnt enjoy the morning enough, we were able to experience it again.

the flight was good, God went before us the whole way, (except for customs... that just took ages.:-)

we are now in Torrance with Glen and Peggy Crabtree, we just hired a car and we are now in search of buying a second hand car to take us up to redding and survive the whole year, so if you need a prayer point.. We need a really good reliable car that is cheap.. or prayer point 2, we need alot more cash so we can get a reliable car.

will be in LA for a few days, then drive up the coast to redding via san fran and hopefully the redwoods..

WE GOT OUR VISAS!!!!

it was so easy, totally a god thing. he was just on every step

we now move out of our house in a week and then its only 6 weeks till we take off...

keep praying for us, we are in dire need of finances, but God is big enough to take care of it all, and his hand is on it so were not worried..

so we have got our visa interview at the US consulate on friday morning, prayers please everyone, we need this visa to go through smoothly and quickly..

Claire officially got accepted into BSSM (Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry)

now we just need to get the form from bethel for our visas and were on our way!!!

Hey all, so we haven't received our visas yet, so we need some serious prayer into that area so that goes smoothly.

As you may be aware, we are leaving in late August to go to Redding, California, to study at Bethel Church. Brad will be interning under Brian Johnson, Worship Pastor, and Claire will be attending Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. We will be there from late August through to early June 2010. We have done extensive research into visas but unfortunately, we are not eligible to obtain a visa that allows us to study and work in the United States of America. The only option we have for employment is “on campus”, however, this is not easily come by.

We are currently saving (like crazy!) and will have our tuition, visas and airfares paid off prior to leaving Australia, as well as hopefully saving as much as possible. Our budget for the 9 months we are away is approximately AUD$670 a week. While this seems daunting and in fact impossible in the natural, we believe God is in agreement with us and He is the God of the impossible!

We are writing to you, our friends, to ask you if supporting us both in prayer and financially would be something you would consider.

Areas of Prayer:

· Visas – the whole process but most importantly, especially a speedy issue!

· Money – that God would bless and increase our finances

· Favour – for finding the right apartment/car/furniture etc

· Jobs – we are praying God would provide that on campus job!

· Us! – that we would learn and be expanded and stretched beyond our current capacities and be able to bless others through what we learn. And for a covering both physically and spiritually while we are away.
